The more I read about California the more I wonder why any good, hard-working American stays there at all. Yes, I know it has great scenery and weather, but is it worth the taxes, the oppressive regulations, the general goofiness of that Legislature and Governor? Yes, by all means, if you can, bail!

No. It's just plain not easy to live under this kind of rule. The mental anguish takes a toll as the crazyness is more than I, at least, can cope with. Every day some new idiotic law is being passed, worse than the last one you heard about. It won't be long until this place is a part of Mexico.
