Since when did all these dyed-in-the-wool, hardcore conservative McClintock supporters start ACTUALLY LISTENING and believeing the LA TIMES???

Answer: when it tells them what they want to hear.

Why: this is a set-up

TWO WORDS: PUSH POLL

Repeat: you are being duped by the EVIL EDITORS of the LA TIMES who merely want to SPLIT the GOP vote and put BUSTAMANTE in office.

The LA TIMES has watched the coverage, seen the other polls, and will do whatever it can to make sure the GOP splits its vote (putting Bustamante in office). Publishing a "poll" that shows Tom "surging" is like chumming the sharks. Wake up and smell the baiting.

Anyone who can't see this is blind.

LA Times... so this probably means Bustamante is actually about 20%, Schwarzenegger about 40%, McClintock .05%, and yes on recall about 99.345%.

If a glass of beer had as much alcohol as Times stories have truth, it'd be my kids' favorite drink.

If this poll is credible (hmm) then I would imagine that most of the "upswing" for Tom comes from negatives that some Demos hold for all of {Davis, Busta, Arnold!}.

I would guess the poll is slanted in some manner, such as away from actual and towards registered voters. Probably someone more attuned to polls out there can comment in more detail...

This is a fictitiuos poll intended to keep McClintock from dropping out, so as to elect Bustamante.

All the RINOs are rhinocering anything in sight over this poll.

I know the LA Times in history has at least reported one poll correctly over the years...Its '89 poll which said that 61% of folks thought abortion was murder--yet a sizeable # of that 61% thought abortion should remain legal. Kind of schizophrenic, eh?...like folks who say they are "pro-life" yet go around voting for their fave European pro-abort. (I mean have oft' do ya get to vote for someone with current European citizenship?)
