Fox News/ Opinion Dynamics just released results from their recent poll (conducted during the same time period as Gallup's poll):
Overall Job Approval (registered voters)
9/09-10/03 58% approve 33% disapprove (+25)
8/12-13/03 57% approve 34% disapprove
[Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, doesn't look like the President's ratings have "tanked" to me! Actually, his ratings have remained remarkably stable AND high (at approximately 60%) despite RELENTLESS attacks by the Democrats and their media enablers!]
Job Approval relative to Terrorism
9/09-10/03 65% approve 29% disapprove (+36)
12/03-4/02 66% approve 22% disapprove

If you analyze ALL of the data from this Gallup poll, you must conclude that the respondents were simply DOWN on all politicians:
GWB job approval 52% / 43%
approval for Congress 40% / 53%
Democrats 49% / 45 %
Republicans 50% / 44%
Direction of Country 40% right / 58% wrong
IN THIS GRUMPY POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT, PRESIDENT BUSH IS STILL MORE POPULAR THAN ANY OTHER POLITICAL ENTITY!
FYI:
A. Fox News/Opinion Dynamics polled REGISTERED voters while Gallup polled anyone who picked up the telephone!
B ABC News (the only other poll taken within the last few days) put the President's approval at 56% -- closer to Fox than Gallup!
WE MUST REMAIN STRONG -- FOR THE NEXT YEAR, DEMOCRATS/THE MEDIA/MOST POLLSTERS WILL BE WORKING IN CONCERT TO DESTROY PRESIDENT BUSH! WE MUST AVOID BECOMING DISCOURAGED AND RE-DOUBLE OUR EFFORTS TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT AND MAKE SURE THAT OUR COURAGEOUS PRESIDENT GETS RE-ELECTED!!
WHILE OUR PRESIDENT IS THE WINSTON CHURCHILL OF OUR TIMES, WE DON'T WANT HIM TO SUFFER THE SAME ELECTORAL FATE AS CHURCHILL!!!!
I bet his numbers go back up after today when people have seen him and remember why we're in Iraq and Afghanistan. Americans have such short memories sometimes.
