The rumor that I have heard is that Doyle will not veto if there it passes by a lot. But he won't sign it either. I think the law is such that if he lets it sit on his desk for 30 days, it's a defacto signature, and the bill would become law. So Doyle wouldn't get the wrath of the NRA, nor the wrath of the liberals.If One Term Bob had been smart, that's what he would have done.
But One Term Bob does not seem to be overly bright.

I brought this up on a Wisconsin thread yesterday. Has anyone tracked the political consequences of vetoing CCW legislation in the various states? Ann Richards vetoed Texas' CCW bill and was out the next election. What has happened to the other governors dumb enough to veto CCW?
