German officials arrested on Thursday charged three Jordanians suspected of belonging to a Palestinian extremist group prosecutors said was plotting attacks on Jewish and Israeli interests. Federal prosecutors in Karlsruhe said a fourth man had been charged with providing support to the al-Tawhid group. The four men will be tried in a Düsseldorf court, where the trial of another al-Tawhid member is underway. Together all five men have been accused of planning an attack near a Jewish institution in Berlin. They could face 10 year prison sentences if convicted.
