I've been in sort of a daze all day...I hate that.

I watched the services this morning, and saw children reading out the names of their Daddies "I love you and miss you Daddy", and all the old rage came bubbling up, and all the hurt...

There's been a lot of hurt these past few years, but it didn't kill us, it made us stronger.

I am however, glad to live here, and to live here today.

I am grateful that I was here to watch the giant awaken, to hear the voice of one America, to be part of the amazing lesson that we taught the world...that free people do not endure, but they prevail.

That on this hunk of land, craddled by the mighty oceans, on this dirt, on this soil, stand the greatest people the world has ever given birth to, and we will not be defeated.
