[history]
September 11, 2003 -- DEMOCRATIC 2004 front-runner Howard Dean is starting to get a reputation for talking out of both sides of his mouth - and not just on Israel.
That could become a big problem for a guy who's running on a "tell it like it is" platform - it may be the first hint of an Achilles heel that might slow Dean's surge to the Democratic nomination.

"It may not matter to the Dean constituency because it's not a traditional constituency. You may be playing into his hands by saying he's flip-flopping," Brazile adds - meaning criticism just makes Dean fans more intense.Yes it is, Donna. RAT voters could care less about lying, corruption, nastiness and sleaze. All they want is power.
To: OldFriend
Lying, cheating, and stealing are Dim job skills. The base demands these pre-requisites.
Dean also said that the WH should ask President Clinton to broker a Mideast peace deal.
He also said he was againt the Cuba embargo. Now he is for it.

IMHO, Dean is angling for big money from terrorist charities.

Dean doesn't know what he's talking about half the time, but he sounds good saying it.

Dean is the typical big mouth demonrat who just shoots off his mouth loudly with whatever he thinks the people want to hear at the moment.
But, that's why I love him. Who else could give Bush a chance at a 50 state blowout?

Fanatics or radicals of any persuasion are never deterred by doublespeak by their leaders. This nondeterrence is a symptom of being a fanatic or a radical.

Dean gave an early indication of his duplicity during the civil unions debate in Vermont.
He hardly participated in the discussions leading up to its passage in the legislature, then he signed the bill behind closed doors with no reporters present.
Now he brags about it to attract the gay vote.

"just look at how Dean has zapped Sen. John Kerry (Mass.) for his Iraq doublespeak since Kerry voted yes on the war and now blasts it."
So what's new here? Kerry served in the Navy in Vietnam, but then came home and vehemently spoke out and demonstrated against it. Neither Dean nor Kerry have any creditability in my opinion. They're both dogs.

Who else could give Bush a chance at a 50 state blowout? Dean would carry Massachusetts.

Dean would carry Massachusetts. Dean will carry Vermont in a landslide. Mass is not as liberal as Vermont is.

The ADL faxed him a request for clarification, saying: "To dictate to Israel the terms of concessions on any issue [like settlements] is inappropriate." To dictate to the US that we must continue to pour billions per year without end in unconstitutional foreign aid down the Israeli rathole is inappropriate.
To: Allan
"Dean would carry Massachusetts."
not to mention Vermont and maybe RI and Maine
lets face it New England with the exception of NH is a nest of liberalism

Hopefully he can wait until after he has the nomination sealed up before he tanks.

But, that's why I love him. Who else could give Bush a chance at a 50 state blowout? He is a lovable cuss, ain't he? :-) But don't get cocky. He'll carry Vermont and D.C.
