" Goldi...I was watching that new show on Court TV "Fake Out" and there was this blonde professional poker player...made me think about you. "

Hi cherry_bomb88! I was watching Court TV earlier today regarding some case. I didn't see the new show about the poker player. Poker is a game of skill. You have to know when when to hold, when to fold, and when to quit. The idea of playing poker is that you hold enough of your winnings to use as "capital" to make more money. Winning is not so much important as instinct is because you're always sizing up against the house and other players.

I also love chess.

Well, "Fake Out" is this new show on Court TV with an FBI interrogator. The idea is to lie to other contestants and have them believe you and then fake out the FBI dude or him try to fake you out. The three contestants this week were all professional poker players. Poker is a game of "faking out". The blonde girl that won was an incredible liar and incredible at detecting when people were lying.

We watch a lot of Court TV here...sometimes I think my daughter watches waaaaaaaaaaaay too much of it, but she wants to be a forensic anthropologist now. She thinks it's very cool. And that's so much better aspirations than her former goals. I am fully encouraging it. Since she's decided this she's done a 180 in behavior and grades. :o) Gotta love that as a mom!
