So what? You will formally RINOIZE and support, hmmmm, Tom Campbell?

If Bustamante wins and McClintock's vote tally is greater than the margin between Schwarzenegger and Bustamante, then I will work to send McClintock back to the private sector in 2004. If Schwarzenegger winds up getting fewer votes than McClintock, then I will commute every weekend from San Diego to Thousand Oaks to ensure that little Tommy McNasty loses the State Senate primary. When someone deliberately splits the vote in apparent collusion with Bustamante, including receiving large amounts of campaign cash from tribal gaming interests who've already endorsed Bustamante, one is allowed to question the man's true motives, and reward him accordingly.

You know that Arnold will be finished if he does not win this year.

Of course. He's not a professional politician, living on the public's dime for 20 years.

Frankly, in 2006, he will be finished if he DOES win this year. So will California.

If he wins, you'd better pray you're right, because otherwise you're going to look really f***ing stupid.

Do you think that having a hissy fit over Bustamante will stave off the inevitable Latino majority in California?

No, it won't. But Bustamante would be a disaster for this state. Of course, since you live in Illinois, you don't have to suffer the consequences of electing him. Talk is cheap, son.

You had better learn social conservatism because the Latinos will not be interested in Muffy, Skipper, Mumsy, polo lessons or trust fund protection politics for a very long time to come.

Wow. Class-warfare rhetoric from McClintock supporters? They prefer that a Democrat win, they pray for unconstitutional judicial fiat to delay the election, and they now start spouting liberal we-hate-the-rich rhetoric. This does *not* make them sound like they're actually conservative.

In any event, you know that Arnold isn't goin to win. The divisions to prevent that are permanent.

When Illinois manages to actually elect a conservative, we'll take your silly opinions under advisement out here.

We probably had this discussion earlier but, if not, would you prefer Dianne Feinstein or Barbara Boxer over US Senator Peter Fitzgerald? You can ignore silly opinions any time but you had better pay attention to the ones that reflect truth.

Here in Illinois, we behave politely toward Mexicans. We, ummmmm, respectfully ask for heir votes and get many. A pro-life, pro-family Mexican woman came close to winning (as a conservative) the only Democrat legislative seat in my county. Mexicans here are quite capable of voting Republican and running as Republicans. The district has an African-American Democrat incumbent from Texas who is also a quite civilized and decent guy despite his terrible voting record. Because of our immediate former stinkpot Governor RINO Lying George Ryan (the one who cleared death row), we did rather poorly on a state level last year but we are ready now to recover.

Numerous real Republican gubernatorial candidates come to mind here. Peter Fitzgerald (particularly if his US attorney in Chcago can jail RINO George Ryan) is one. He is by no means alone.

Class warfare???? No, not really. Fitzgerald is not exactly a pauper himself. However the polopony set in California have amply proven their complete political ineptitude. Social conservatism PLUS fiscal conservatism is ideal. If one or the other has to be de-emphasized, it must be fiscal conservatism that is de-emphasized. If you do not understand that, you will. Thurston and Lovey Howell are NOT the GOP future.

I know of no McClintock supporter who would have preferred a postponement of the recall election. Some thought the recall not a very good idea. I have mixed feelings on that. Nonetheless, it is on the ballot and it is time to take care of business and the party's future by seeing to it that there will NOT be an empowerment of the "money/money/money " crowd in the party at the expense of far more important issues.

I have been accused of a lot of things but stupid has never been one of them. You want stupid? Try and win a statewide election as a Republican in California without the pro-gun folks, the pro-life folks, the pro-family folks, the anti-tax folks, the anti-spend folks and the anti-quota folks as you are doing and you will see.

Arnie is most certainly NOT a professional politician. He is a rank amateur being manipulated by an evil group of pros like Buffett and Wilson. With a $38 billion deficit this year alone and more sure to come next year, you do not need Arnie and his amateur hour.

I try not to be the language police, but I think you want to review your second sentence beginning with: "If Schwarzenegger..." May I respectfully suggest that it seems not to make sense?

That's because they are not conservatives. They are party splitters being financed by former supporters of billary and hill McClintock...

We will be better off when a bunch of them go sour grapes and leave the party to join a one percenter group...
