BINGO!!! As I said in an earlier post, this is essentially a GENERAL election. Now, is NOT the time for McClintock to stay in to prevent ANOTHER REPUBLICAN (even THOUGH he is a RINO) from winning the election.
Even THOUGH Arnold is a LIBERAL RINO REPUBLICAN, he is still "OFFICIALLY" a REPUBLICAN! And he DOES support Bush! Just having a REPUBLICAN (of ANY kind) as Governor---helps the overall REPUBLICAN national agenda.
Remember (1) LIBERAL RAT Patsy Mink from Hawaii who was artificially kept on life support just until after it was "too late" to remove her name from the ballot, (2) LIBERAL RAT Paul Wellstone who died in a plane crash and whose name was kept on the ballot just until after it was "too late" to remove his name from it, (3) REPUBLICAN Sonny Bono who allegedly "ran into a tree" on skis and whose WIFE replaced him, etc.?
As I recall, GOVERNORS played a part in who and/or how their replacements were made. If the Governor is of a certain Party, the Governor can/will choose HIS Party!
Even though he is a LIBERAL RINO, Arnold is still listed as a REPUBLICAN! And ARNOLD CAN WIN!!! McClintock CANNOT!
On a side note, the fact that Arnold is a SELF-MADE MULTI-MILLIONAIRE due to his SMART BUSINESS SAAVY, greatly eases my concern about him. He may just be the ONLY guy that could have ANY chance of getting California back in the black.
