>>>I'm not going to debate with you, I've gone around in circles with you before.
This isn't about circles. This is about supporting the conservative movement in America today and the future of the GOP. The reason you're unwilling to debate, is because you know you can't win the debate on the issues. Not with a candidate so far left of center and not with a candidate who holds such liberal positions on so many critical issues.
>>>You are one of the folks that just brushes aside anything you don't like to hear and just keeps reiterating that Arnold is a "liberal".
No I'm not. I'm one of those folks who can't understand why you "Arnoldnauts" are so willing to surrender your principles for a candidate whose proven he's not a conservative. Hence my use of the term liberal, in referencing Arnold's basic politcal ideology.
>>>I can show you a quote where Arnold states clearly that he will tighten the borders to keep out illegals and you select group of folks just flatly insists you don't believe it.
Oh really. Well, here's what Arnold said tonight, when O'Reilly asked him a similiar question on militarizing the borders.
"O'REILLY: Would you be opposed to militarizing the border, putting the National Guard in California down there, to back up the border patrol? Would you be opposed to that?
SCHWARZENEGGER: Well, I'm not opposed to that, but I'd really have to check it out and really become much more an expert on how to protect the borders in order to make the -- to stop that from happening.
And this guy is running for the California governorship! That's not the answer of a conservative. Someone running for governor of California should have a better answer to the issue of illegal immigration.
>>>The bottom line is that CALIFORNIA has shown repeatedly in the past few elections that they WILL NOT VOTE in the majority for a 100% pro-gun, pro-life, anti-gay candidate.
Don't play games with me. You know very well, I was willing to give Arnold a pass on his social liberalism, but he had to prove he was a fiscal conservative. I'm still waiting. If that's what California really wants, then they can have a liberal governor, Bustamonte or Arnold.
>>>Educate the voters and increase our numbers of conservatives and THEN we can change the types of candidates we offer them. As a matter of fact, I think Arnold will also prove to be a leg up in that direction and make groups of new voters comfortable with voting Republican.
Educating the voters is fine. But California has been headed in the wrong direction for years. Arnold doesn't agree with the conservative agenda of the GOP. If he brings in voters to the Republican Party, they won't be conservative. This is pointless.
The GOP is the conservative party in America. Why do you want to see a liberal Republican elected governor of California?
