Man charged with offering woman tires for sex

ATHENS -- An employee of a tire dealership in Athens has been arrested on charges that he offered tires to a woman in exchange for sex.
Athens-Clarke County police say 42-year-old Gregory Wade Mulligan of Maysville was charged Monday with solicitation of prostitution and pandering.
Police say the 25-year-old Athens woman decided not to buy the tires from Mulligan at Tires Plus because she thought they were too expensive. She told police that Mulligan telephoned her later to say he would give her the tires if she would meet him at a motel and have sex with him.

She should hold out for spark plugs, oil change and new wipers. If she is a looker she ought to get some brake pads too! Actually, think about it, this may be a way to cure the excessive car repair bills of so many women. And to extend the program to pllumbers, electricians and carpenters,,well, this could start a trend.

My wife knew a woman who would date and deliver her charms in exchange for a bedroom suite or refrigerator and then dump the purchaser. She picked up quite a lot of household goods that way.
