"It turns out that Bill Clinton did, in fact, leave us a legacy. - - A legacy of a divided, bitter partisan nation, one half of which puts party above country, in this, a time of war."You got that right.

During Brit's show tonight, he had Monsoor Ijaz on and he and Brit were talking about the Saddam/Usama connection. Monsoor mentioned that Bob Graham should know better because Bob was part of the Committee that was given the information that there was a connection.
Sooooo .. the idiot is lying through his teeth!

May your husband be safe and return to you as soon as humanly possible. Our beloved soldiers are owed so much and given so little - they have my very deepest admiration.
It is because of them we can fly our flags proudly and live the lives we do in this country. We owe them everything we have.

Thanks *s* This is just a short underway, a week tops. (Can't be more specific, he's on a submarine) Still not going to make tomorrow a real fun day.

Monsoor mentioned that Bob Graham should know better because Bob was part of the Committee that was given the information that there was a connection. I wish I could say that is a surprise about Graham, but unfortunately, it's not. It's just further proof that he and the rest of them are dangerous to the country and only interested in their own power.

...the second tower just fell....again.In the interview, I believe Dubya said he gave orders to shoot down Todd Beamer's airplane. At the time, there was no other option.
I wonder if this is what it was like after Pearl Harbor was hit...

Thank you for starting this thread. I was sure I'd seen this show but so much of it seems new.
I hadn't known there was a "suspect" plane ahead of Air Force One. I also hadn't known that Karen Hughes walked into the WH and no one was there! Although it then turned out a few soldiers were there.

Scott Pelley, yes. I was really surprised that it was done in a fair manner...don't see anything like that these days. Watching this sure makes the RATS seem petty and small. God bless President Bush.

Just talked about Orfutt in Nebraska as Bush's destiantion before returning to DC. I wonder how many realize that this was the first location for NORAD before it moved to Cheyenne Mountain. It was as hardened as was possible for 1950s H-Bombs without being inside a mountain so it was a logical choice as a safe haven.
The A**holes who cried "Where is the President" almost always knew better and showed their treasonous partisanship in their lies. I will never have any respect for these #^I*@#$%#%^ b**tards. The comparison with FDR and the LOYAL Opposition of the time is VERY INSTRUCTIVE!

Attention: I am interested in a tape of this 60 Minutes Episode! I teach HS govt. and would love to use this as a tool to show my kids how the President makes decisions in times of crisis. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the tape? According to the CBS site, this episode is not for sale. Thank you for your help.

Wow, the interviewer said what is obvious to everyone except Democrats. Clinton's cruise bombing NEVER deterred Bin Laden.

I was planning on getting up at 5:30 am to watch FOX present a 2-hr special.

Bloomberg is an, well it starts with a and ends with s.
NEW YORK - Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Wednesday he asked Vice President Dick Cheney (news - web sites) not to attend the city's World Trade Center anniversary ceremony because Cheney's security would have "inconvenienced" family members of victims.
"Because of concerns that the increased security measures required for vice presidential travel would have inconvenienced or delayed family members, I have asked Vice President Cheney to attend a memorial service later in the day honoring fallen Port Authority officers and employees, instead of the morning's commemoration at the World Trade Center site," Bloomberg said in a statement.
A call to Cheney's office was not immediately returned Wednesday. He will attend a memorial service at ground zero
