I'm surprised so many people keep missing this. The "roadmap" was nothing more than the establishment of set of conditions that the Pales could NEVER meet---and Bush, I think, had no illusions that they ever would. Even with the biased world press, now the Pale attacks and celebrations over suicide bombers increasingly looks like the barbarism it is.

Meanwhil, Bush can say in all honesty, "I tried. I set up a scenario in which the Pales could have their own state, and they simply refused to meet the conditions."

If I'm not mistaken, this is almost exactly the same trap Bush laid for Saddam---set up a series of tests that Saddam would not meet, but which appeared reasonable.

I want him to stick to his doctrine he set forth in the post-9/11 world view of the US and that is that regimes which harbor terrorists will suffer the consequences of those terror groups it harbors. The Palestinian Authority is a terrorist regime, and instead of supporting Israel's fight against that regime, President Bush comes out with some "peace" plan that Israel needs to negotiate with that terror regime. What am I missing here? Did Bush negotiate with the Taliban? No. He gave them 48 hours to comply and that was it. Why do the Israelis have to continue to suffer at the hands of the Arab terrorists Bush refuses to support destroying, instead saying that the PA terror regime must comfront their own friends. Comeon, give me a break.

I want the administration to equate Israel's war on terrorism with our war on terrorism. So far, as with the rest of the administrations, we have refused to do so. Clinton was no different. We have Olso with a new name, "roadmap"

Peace cannot be achieved with a terrorist entity. Bush refuses to view the Palestinian Authority as a terrorist regime.
