The absentee ballots are out. More conservatives vote
absentee. If they vote for "Scumbag" McClintock, it
will be a vote for Bustamante. Thank you!

The absentee votes cannot be withdrawn.

That's not entirely the case - in 2000 we learned that rarely - if ever - are absentee ballots counted in California. They count up all the regular votes and, then, if they need more ballots to decide a close race, they bring in LA then other counties, one after another. More conservative counties, like the one I live in, we learned from our registrar, rarely have their absentee counts contributed to the state's official total. Thus I no longer vote absentee and have since gone back to the polling site & will forever more.
