Republican moderates in California appear to be having little success convincing conservatives to support Schwarzenegger. Polls cvonsistantly show that while Arnie is gaining momentum in the center, McClintock is holding his own on the right.

Given this, moderates ought to be pondering a far more realistic question. How will I vote on part one of the ballot?

Will I vote against Davis and end up with Bustamante or will I vote for Davis and my candidate?

Ah, yes... this one is getting more popular, isn't it?

"VOTE FOR DAVIS, IT'S THE CONSERVATIVE THING TO DO!"

Any Republican that votes for Davis or by omission of action votes for Bustamante should be tarred and feathered.
