McClintock is a real hero and loves California alot. That is why he would drop out, I don't like you putting him down. He should be the candidate.

"Real Hero"? Audie Murphy was a hero. The firemen and policemen that ran up stairs in the WTC towers 2 years ago were heros. Mcclintock may be a quasi-career politician that has been involved in California politics for years but a "hero"?

I did see where in 1984 "he received the civilian Medal of Merit from the Ventura County Peace Officers Association for rescuing an elderly man from a condominium fire". Is that what you are referring to?

I'm not "putting him down", I'm just observing that in a Democratic state like California in a very short election cycle like this one he doesn't really have a chance. Even if Arnold dropped out.
