Here, we have no gangs (rural NY).
Go a little south, there's black gangs.
Go further south, there's both white and black gangs.

Anyway, I’m done debating the issue with you. I was just speculating on the possible reasons for this shooting, based on the preliminary reports. Yes, it was premature and speculative, may still turn out to be right. Not that it really matters anyway.

But you found some other agenda in my speculation, which tells me much about your mindset.

It is, and Taft ain't bad, for an L.A. school. But white folks with means go private. Crespi, Louisville, and Notre Dame are respected Catholic High Schools that draw from that area.

Also, the whole idea of neighborhood schools has been largely destroyed in Los Angeles, so the kids at Taft come from all over.

Shooters/shooter still at large, as of a few minutes ago, shooter not in custody, reports are that kids were waiting for a bus, and it was a drive-by shooting, red car, compact poss Mitsubishi (sp), One female, two male victims....It occured across the street from the school at the bus stop.....

Yes, I was thinking the same thing about Drudge. I thought it was just a feeling I had, but sure seems like Drudge has gone over to the Dark Side. Or possibly always was on that side and I just never noticed??
