"Savages, beasts etal. This is a race war. Been once since a prophet said down and penned the life of Abraham."

I don't believe this has anything to do with race; it's cultural war pure and simple. It's almost as if we a re-living the crusades.

What they want is a brutal repressive government based on Islamic Law. What I want is a free democratic government based on Judeao-Christian values.

Israel, Iraq, Afghanistan are the battlegrounds now. If we have any hope of winning this war we MUST be victorious there. We can't cut and run, we can't isolate ourselves from the problems we face. If we do we are only comitting suicide; our culture will only be overrun in time.

In the future, I hope the people of Syria, Iran, and Saudi Arabia see what can be made possible in a free society and rise up against their leaders. A bit optimistic yes, but I would rather have them do their own dirty work so we don't have too.

As for our propensity to destroy our own culture from within; you are right. However, that is a story for another day.

You folks have channelled my frustration into solid replies and for that I commend you. I was just a bit disgusted and apprehensive yesterday. The next three months (until the end of Ramadan) have got me nervous as heck. The rarest of rare double eclipse during Ramadan 2003 and all that portends makes it so.

All civlized persons are justifiable sick over this cycle of violence, but it's a new day ripe with hope. We can never lose hope. Everyone have a good day.
