The vet in the Wheelchair was Cutter John.

I have too many favorite Bloom County strips to even think of one, but the sequence where Milo and Binkley went to a college campus to start a no nukes rally and found out that modern students were Reaganite frat boys comes close.

Of course, the fact I was a Reaganite frat boy might have something to do with that.

The other good strip was where Opus was in a bar with two guys, one dressed real conservatively and another guy with long hair in a tank top. The conservatively dressed guy starts dissing Reagan and the US, to which the hippy-looking guy stands up and says, "America, love it or leave it you commie pinko."
