My favorite strip is the one where the guy goes "huntin' for liberals." He has a special whistle that plays the liberals' "mating call" -- "No Nukes! No Nukes!" Then when he bags his leftist, the critter yells "Ow! Socialized medicine! Socialized medicine!"

The liberals hunting was classic! The funny thing was how Breathed drew the stereotypical liberal - right down to the geeky spectacles.

My favorite was an early one, where Senator Bedfellow was visiting an old farmer out in the fields, and he commented admiringly about the farmer's crop of corn. The farmer replied, "Taint corn - it's dope...Here, take a few pounds home to the wife!"

I still crack up thinking about that.

I was just going through this thread, ready to comment on that one. That one was from the early
80's. It was the kid and grandpa going 'hunting', and at the time they were scarce, then the boy gave the liberal call. OMG, that was GOOD!!!

Even my lib pol-sci teacher thought it was funny.
