That's a quote from August 27th. Not even the same quote posted at the beginning of the thread and referenced in the National Review piece.

The original quote being discussed supposedly took place on September 7th, the first time, to my knowledge, that he publically discussed the issue. Here is the link to that one:

Yeah, I saw that one too. So, we know that Arnold thinks that 20% to 25% of California Republicans are "right wing crazies," and is willing to say so.

Doesn't seem like much of a stretch that he might call supporters of Proposition #54 "right wing crazies" too.

If folks would like to see some confirmation, that's fair... so long as they don't simultaneously claim the the poster of this thread was fabricating things. If their jury is out, it should be out all around.

In any event, though, they've found the earlier "right wing crazy" comment on their own, and I repeat my question to them...

Doesn't Arnold need those votes?

If he does, maybe he shouldn't call them "right wing crazies," and if he doesn't, then I don't see what basis they have for calling on Tom McClintock to withdraw from the race.

Even though I'm a normally unassuming and trusting person, until I see a lot more reliable confirmation on it, I'm going to put this story down as having a great deal of

MULHOLLAND STINK

on it.
