Good afternoon and evening to our Hostesses and all the Finest....I'm late to the table today...the County Judge pulled my name outta the hat and I commenced to sittin' for jury duty this morning.

Sometimes, the luck of the Irish makes life a little easier, so my name didn't come up and I was released from duty 'long 'bout noontime....dern good thing...I gotta field to plow, cows to milk...don't wanna be gone from the farm for too long.

Besides, I'd miss Lucy too much...)
