A lot of older East Germans would like to put the wall back up.As would some in the West, I am sure.

(There ought to be a law against excessive legislation.)
Pop quiz time. What movie featured this version of the East German National Anthem?:
Hail, Hail, East Germany,
Land of Vine and Grape
Land where you'll regret
Any try to escape.
Whether you tunnel under
Or take a running jump at the wall
Forget it, the guards will kill you
If the electrified fence doesn't first

Then you are too damn young. You never saw a farmer taste soil? In countries wre people are starving, they do eat dirt as a desperate measure. Now take this slowly. People in the East lived on a dirt diet and apparently got used to it, like they got used to erzatz coffee. Capitalism is an acquired taste as is real coffee.

Look man. My post was "hillarious".
To that post you replied:
If you can't cut it in the new age--as my Ossies can't-- you yearn for the security of the old. Kind of return to the womb. Never mind the number of abortions performed.
Is it just me? What has the post about people eating dirt to do with your post about abortion, a return to the womb and cutting it in the new age? It's probably just me- it must be- but I'm not making the connection here and to be honest you're not making it any easier for me to... Are you sure you were replying to the right person?
