It was a good movie

So what! That negates the fact that Polanski was charged with rape and FIVE other felonies and fled the country to France, a country that he knew he could fight extradition.

Same thing with Ira Einhorn the founder of Earth Day. He was charged with the murder of his girlfriend Holly Maddux, who rotted in a trunk in his apartment. He fled the U.S. and showed up in France. He continues to live there and fight extradition back to the U.S.

So apparently if you are a rapist or murderer, flee to France, they'll protect you from facing trial in the U.S.

Polanski and France belong together.

Ford is a Hollywood actor. What do you expect from him befriending Polanski. I rarely am surprised anymore of anything that comes out of Hollywood anymore. It just doesn't shock me anymore. They are all freaks.

You might want to update your diatribes. Einhorn was deported back to the States in July, 2001. They ran a new trial for him, where his defense that the CIA killed Holly to frame him was literally laughed out of court. He's now Pennsylvania inmate number ES6859, serving a life sentence.

FLASH! Breaking news! France expelled Einhorn to the US in June of 2001 - over two years ago. He was sentenced to life in prison in October of 2002.

And you were saying about those nasty French...?
