Good heavens..what a nightmare you have described! What is it about Cuba and Castro that the "stars" love?? Don't they know?

Actually it's far worse than what I described. These are mostly favored citizens I described. Political dissidents are put into a drawer for years on end. They can't sit up or turn. They are kept in complete darkness inside their drawer. Sewage is poured on them several times a day. It builds up over the years into a thick crust that cannot be washed off. When they are finally released to the general prison population, prisoners help them scrape the inches-thick crust off using torn aluminum cans.

Families are not allowed to have locks on their doors, because good citizens have nothing to hide from their government. While they are at work, the neighborhood kids can walk in and take whatever they will.

Food rations are minimal. I used to know what they were ... one egg a week, a cup of milk per person per week ... something along those lines.

Children are pressured to spy on their parents and to report them to the government.

Some things have improved over the last few years. There are some legal churches in the country, and they are allowed to speak in the schools sometimes.

Things that are in short (non-existant) supply: toilet seats, soap, paper.

#150...Gitmo,I almost lost my Cheerios! You have slapped me in the face with a reality that I was unaware of.May God help the victims of inhumanity.May the cruel perps meet justice someday.May the people of Cuba know freedom.

This ridiculous post entertained me,of course, but I am sobered with the suffering of our neighbors and all who live under the tyranny of communism.
