Let's see we've had how many fawning movies about "the greatest President ever" JFK, who served 1/2 of a term and managed several major blunders. It seems we can't get enough books, movies, docudramas and other stories lamenting the days of Camelot but one movie depicting the events of 9/11 and it's apoplexy on the left!

What you are saying is true, but the difference is that those movies were made after Kennedy's presidency, not during. I am always uneasy about portraying a President in a movie while he is still in office, regardless of political affiliation.

Don't forget John Glenn's campaign movie "The Right Stuff"- if you read the book then see the movie you can see the intent of the movie clearly.
