Both use terrorist tactics, agreed. But their motives differ. Besides, Zionists used terrorist tactics as well in the early days. Menachem Begin's Irgun blew up the King David Hotel in 1946, killing 40. It also had its motives.

Let's see...

The King David Hotel was the British Military HQ at the time, not a civillian hotel.

They also called the British to warn them to evacuate the building more than once, something the Brits finally admitted in the 70's or 80's. (In other words, they lied about having received the warning for 30 or 40 years.)

At the time, the British trained and armed Arab armies, and forbid Jews from owning weapons, to help keep the peace.

I'm sure you can imagine how well that worked out.

"Besides, Zionists used terrorist tactics as well in the early days."

I REPEAT! (for the third time!):

When has an Israeli EVER strapped a bomb around his middle and blown up a bus load of women and children??!

I'm really tired of these evasive tatics to shift the blame to Israel.
It can't be done!
Israel was going through the same terrorists attacks for many years before 9-11.
We won't tolerate the murder of our citizens by terrorists.
Why should we expect Israel to accept the murder of their's?

The King Davi Hotel was hq for the British occupation. It was a legitimate target. The Irgun called in a warning. The surrounding embassies evacuated. The British refused to allow anyone to do so in the building.
