HOLLYWOOD star James Brolin is turned into a remarkable lookalike of ex-President Ronald Reagan for a film. He smiles and waves as he recreates the moment Reagan was shot.
The actor, 62, plays the Republican in The Reagans, to be shown on US TV in November.
Reagan, now 92, and two others were hurt as gun nut John Hinckley opened fire on his entourage in 1981.
Hinckley, 48, is in a psychiatric prison.

Sorry, but I don't think he looks like Reagan at all.

... and here I always thought Hinckley was a confirmed Jodi Foster nut, instead.

... whereas Brolin's wife, by way of comparison, really just kinda ought to be. :)

Babs could play Eleanor Roosevelt with less makeup than Brolin used.

Maybe this is the "new" affirmative action policy in Hollywood - allowing avowed liberals to play the conservative parts!
The liberals can brag about their acting abilities being stretched to the limit!

Don't insult Teddy Roosevelt like that

Mel's way too short to play Ronaldus.....

I heard they are going to film "Atlas Shrugged", too. Susan Sarandon will play the lead. Reardon will be played by her husband.

Hollywood had to pick him but he wasn't their first choice. Adam Sandler was unavailable.

Hilarious!
Ed Asner as John Galt?
Whoopi Goldberg as Dagny?
Socialists understand the power to influence the voting masses.
It is past time that the GOP understand what it takes to win and keep power.
It is not enough to be principled and better.
You have to win the game to govern.

No gun nut I know could have even pointed a gun in Reagan's general direction, though they would have been keeping a close eye on whiny liberal reporters and their false insinuations.
To: WhyisaTexasgirlinPA
Actually, this could get ugly. No doubt the producers of this show will use this to attempt to portray Reagan as some kind of war-mongering, doddering, uncaring, narcoleptic, racist, fiscally reckless, hateful child abuser.
Betcha a nickel.
To: Leroy S. Mort
Was happily unaware of that ! Still , they could have hired actors shorter than Gibson ...camera angles ...etc...Anyway , it is a CBS production so we are assured there will be no bias at all ( hehehe ) ...
