Your comments about what has happened in California is well worth thinking about. Isn't there a slogan somewhere that says " As California Goes, So Goes the Nation"? If there is any truth to that...we are all in BIG trouble.

That used to be true but not anymore. Once the democrat/liberal state house would pass a wacky law and it would be emulated by other states that had democrat state legislatures so they could feel they were as "progressive" as California. However, Republicans have all but domianted in the state governments and grass root levels for about a decade and growing. Now states have concealed carry and welfare to work programs (like Wisconsin). Furthermore, have you noticed that the liberal media stops saying "As California goes, so goes the nation" when conservative ideas like halting illegal immigration welfare or English only initiatives were passed?

If Davis' true intent in allowing illegals to have drivers licencses is so they can establish residency to vote (in MI, all you need to do is give pollsters your street address), then I hope to GOD that hundreds of thousands of people in California realize that this is highly illegal and against the law, since you must be a citizen of this country to vote. A drivers license, as much as Davis wants to believe it does, does not grant citizenship.

If I lived in Cali, I would be very, VERY afraid of what that fool Davis is doing to try and destroy the Constitution. Where do California's congressmen stand on this? Surely they know the real reason behind giving illegals licenses. The sneaky part in me wants to believe the real reason is so the INS knows where to look for them.

I can dream, can't I?
