Defender, you are so right. The Dems are whining and complaining about the $87 billion request from President Bush. Can you believe it? Our troops are on the front lines and the Dems are waffling on whether we should support them. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC! They understand full well what is at stake here but they don't care. All they care about is regaining power, not what is good for the country.

This is war and we have to win. There is no turning back or the future of the civilized world is in grave jeopardy. I can't believe the Democrats are willing to forsake national security (world security for that matter) in order to score some political points. Sickening.
There are freepers among us who are doing the same exact thing.
Cut the farm bill, cut the prescription drug bill, cut the education bill, but for the sake of the safety of our troops, do NOT shortchange them by cutting support of our military!
