Fineman says Dean will challenge the speech, the demo candidates will redouble their assault on President Bush. They would have assaulted Bush no matter what he said in the speech.
If Bush had agreed with every Dem argument in his speech, they would have reversed their positions in order to attack Bush.
These are the most pathetic bunch of candidates I have ever seen.

Oh, good grief! With all that's wrong in the world, you're worried about THAT?? Remind me not to take you seriously any more...... I'm not worried about that, but it was just interesting that he used that term. I have never heard it used in a major speech before. I am just making an observation.

It occurs to me that, if the speech was much longer, there would have to be a "Democrat Response." Keeping them short makes for pretty neat strategery, eh? It takes them a couple days to think of a response ..

Eagleberger just said "I was so proud of the President tonight when he said 'We must stay the course.'"

The speech was a total failure because it did not satisfy Alan Colmes.
Owe wait, that's impossible for a Repub.

You can see and smell the desperation and fear all over this administration. You're a born loser and a broken record. Stand in front of that bulldozer over there while I climb into the cab. I think we can resolve this.

If everybody who loves freedom, would just cast a vote for a third party who shares their views instead of staying home, we would have a viable third party today. On that we can agree. Your argument holds merit and holds influence with me. BTW, thanks for probably the first sane response I've seen tonight.

bore such dramatic frowns before and after, you know they were unhappy.
And this surprises you? When I do not have access to cable I listen to the radio. This surprised me. Understand, I don't turn the television on very often, and even then it's usually to watch a video. When 60 Minutes started to run the Clinton/Dole junk it drove the nail in my 35 years' viewership -- and I got so out of the habit that I inadvertently quit watching Star Trek, uh..., Enterprise, too.

It's nothing but a slap in the face of all those men and women who died to give you that right. You demean their memory.AMEN!!!!
And DITTOS to all the rest of you 'purists' who are thinking about staying home, or throwing your vote away by voting for an obscure third party candidate in 2004..........
YOU DEMEAN THE MEMORY OF THOSE WHO DIED TO GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO VOTE!

Fineman says Dean will challenge the speech, the demo candidates will redouble their assault on President Bush. Disgusting.Let them!
This is just first salvo from President Bush. The next salvo will be the report on the WMD, making them look like the fools they are.
He did not spend his vacation in Crawford just clearing brush!! The dims are making a huge mistake, once again "misunderestimating" this President

Would you rather have to pay untold billions to repair this country from future terrorist attacks, or would you rather send billions overseas in an attempt to prevent those attacks from happening on our shores? You can either send the money overseas, or you can spend the money here...but one way or the other, you're going to have to pay.U.S. Officials Misread Economic Warfare
