Exactly. He is against assilation, against the "melting pot", he is for this diversification --- but he doesn't even explain why it's better for the USA to become more like Mexico. Garcia needs to go to Mexico and see why that country ---- with all it's wealth and vast natural resources looks so very different from the USA.
It's not the people who make the difference, it's just the space.
Put anyone on the landmass of the United States and you'll get the same MAGICAL results!
At least that's the arguement for mass "migration".
Indeed. His cliched cry of "racist" neglects to acknowledge the unique qualities of the American culture, qualities which transcend race and are in fact the apex of the Greco-Roman/Judeo-Christian culture, i.e. Western Civilization. Hispanic culture, while encompassing many beautiful and worthwhile qualities, has not produced the liberty, prosperity, and opportunity whose compelling attraction is the reason for the tremendous migration out of Mexico into the U.S.
When analyzing arguements such as his, one needs only recall the Berlin Wall, and the defenders of Communism who never reconciled their amorous feelings towards the Soviet Union with the fact that the wall was built to keep people in. Illegal aliens are voting with their feet, but Señor Garcia would like the Florida Supreme Court to order recounts.
