I'm not voting. Republican or Democrat. Nobody is working for me and I can't identify with either party. Well, I don't identify with the Dems at all but the Republicans have become so disappointing I just can't bring myself to vote for them. I follow politics but voting is another thing.

No, Libertarians have not offered an acceptable platform to garner enough votes to beat the Dems...if the Dems were crushed by the Republicans, it would probably further your cause to promote the Libertarians as the party the Dems wish they were...too much at risk to "give away" my only vote and I mean that in the kindest way.

I will, unless he signs the new assault weapons bill. Then I might just sit it out.

That and if jobs do not improve, it is still the economy.

It's about the country.

The country is governed by people who are voted into office. They have all the power given to them under the Constitution. The parties select and nominate the people who the voters will elect to run the country. It's about votes.

Wake up!

A vote for either R or D is a vote for global totalitarian socialism. The two-party system is a joke, it's a one-party system with two faces.

A vote for either big party is the way to REALLY "throw away" your vote. Such a vote will be interpreted by the Powers That Be as "I am still under your spell, continue as you have been."

A vote for the Libertarian Party(although I disagree with much of what they want) is at least a way to say "Slow down, assholes!"

The Libertarian Party? The ones who want completely open borders? The party that does not support our troops? No thanks.

tkathy, So you are a gun control supporter I take it. Quit running your brain on emotion and take a good look at the facts.

Where is crime and murder the highest? In cities and states where there are the most severe gun control.

Where is crime and murder the lowest? In cities and states with legal conceled carry and the least restrictive gun control.

As for so called "Assault Weapons". The term was made up by the press and promoted by politicians to scare people who have no knowledge of firearms. These are not "machine guns" as they want you to believe. You have to pull the trigger each time to fire a round, that is called "semi-automatic". You have been misled by propaganda that these are the weapon of choice by criminals when in fact such weapons are used in less than 1% of gun crimes.

We still have a 2nd Amendment in most of this country, and where it is still in effect, crime and firearm deaths are at all time lows. It is so convenient for you to blame guns, instead of placing the blame where it belongs on criminals and the leftist judges who play catch and release with these thugs.

Yes, I own many so-called "Assault Weapons". I don't keep them in my pants, I keep them in my safe where irresponsible people cannot get ahold of them. I am responsible for my own safety and the safety of my loved ones. I am still a free American and take the responsibility seriously. I am not a threat to anyone except a criminal who would try to bring harm to me.

Firearms are no more dangerous than golf clubs. It depends on how you use them. What it all comes down to is "RESPONSIBILITY". If you are not responsible for your actions, there should be horrible consequenses. Thanks to the liberal judges out there, criminals no longer live in fear of the law, and we all need to own firearms.

My advise to you is open up that mind, have a try and shooting sports, and start taking some responsibility for your own protection.

You are entitled to your opinion but like I mentioned, until the Libertarian Party is capable of defeating a Democratic Party hopeful then I will gladly "throw away" my vote for a Republican administration that will at least nominate judges who can stem the tide of Liberalism. You might find it easy to lump an apple and an orange together and call them fruit, but I DO RECOGNIZE differences.
