Right off the bat, this line shows the article to be a biased bunch of lies... "Intermarriage between this preferred group and non-Jews can not take place legally in Israel, except in the highly unlikely situation that the non-Jew can arrange to be converted by Orthodox Rabbis."

This is simply a lie... There is nothing stopping a Jew and a non-Jew from marrying... Of course, the Orthodix Rabbis will not participate in or recongnize the marriage, but the State of Israel does. And the statement that the conversion process would be "highly unlikely" is utter BS... It's not unlikely at all. Converts are welcomed in Judism. The problem is that it's not all that common, because in Israel, I believe that if you do want to convert, you must do so under Orthodx Jewish supervision, which is quite strict. That might discourage it somewhat, but it's not like there's some "cabal" of Rabbis trying to keep the numbers of Jews as small as possible...

Umm...how can this be, since Israel doesn't recognise civil marriages, only religious ones?
