Indian gambling is a family affair for the Bustamantes. Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante has collected $2.4 million in campaign money from tribes, and a younger brother, Andrew Bustamante, is the general manager of an Indian casino.
Andrew Bustamante has operated the Mono Wind Casino in Auberry for seven months. The casino, near Fresno, is owned by the Big Sandy Rancheria of Mono Indians.

The downplaying of the Bustamante brothers Indian gaming relationship by MadClintock spokesman John Stools is interesting too. It makes you wonder if MadClintock has some relatives who run a "Casablanca" mirabile luck type casino to add to the campaign contributions that the Sycuan tribe were reported to have given to him.
Here is a picture of the Sycuan casino slots from their website.
It kind of warms the heart to know that a lot of people become attached to their slot machines like drug addicts, dumping their earnings down an unforgiving statistical well. But their friends and families should take solace that the three amigos, lifetimer pols Davis, Bustamante and MadClintock, are appreciative of their sacrifice and will put their money to good use.

A vote for M.E.Ch.A La Raza Bustamante is a vote to to give
the Southwest back to Mexico. So much for remembering the Alamo.
"Por la Raza todo. Fuera de la Raza nada."
"For the race, everything. Outside the race, nothing."

Arnold has not.And yet the McClintock zombies still fail to realize how flawed their boy is.

McClintock has been supported by and supportive of Indian "gaming".
He, though, has refused to use the loopholes Bustamante used to collect millions of dollars in contributions.
McClintock could do the same thing but said he will not because it clearly violates the spirit of the bill that citizens support.

"It looks like it's even a family affair,' said Alario, saying she was quoting Huffington. "But this is not surprising, this is exactly the kind of special interest, quid-pro-dough that we've come to expect from the lieutenant governor.' That "quid pro dough" quip made me laugh out loud. (And there's not much to laugh about when it comes to Calfornia's financial mess.)
