Gray Davis decided to give Americans the finger. Its pretty lame reasoning when all you can say to justify this law is with, "Nevada and Arizona license them too so we might just as well get in on the action." Oh no, its too much to ask California to stand up for American principles. Politicians love to pander and if you think you've seen the height of pandering in this recall election, you ain't seen nuthin' yet.

We need to let all California Drivers with a home and some type of estate, that they need to contact their auto insurance agents to handle the future liability of this terrible new law.

None of these wonderful new drivers will be insured, few will be able to read English and none will be turned down for bad driving in Mexico or on their tests.

We bought my wife and new car, and I called our insurance agent to drop the older car that we sold and to insure the newer one.

I got the office manager this past Tuesday. She said to call back on Thursday when we sold our old car. I did and the agent was there.

After, I gave the data on my wife's new car, the office manager who had hinted about this situation on Tuesday said, "We can't tell you what we want to say re the new law, however if you ask us about you potential liability, we can advise you! (lawers at work as usual).

Basically, they see a nightmare of accidents from these new drivers. None will have insurance. That will result in us getting stuck or maybe in multiple car situations getting sued after be hit first by one of these new drivers. For example you are legally driving down a freeway and one of these new drivers hits your car and drives you into several other cars. He is killed and had no insurance. The possibility of the other car drivers/families coming after you might be very high.

To shorten the story, reduce your deductible to pay for maximum uninsured driver insurance, raise your comprehensive to help in a wreck involving more than one car, and if you own a home in California, buy an umbrella insurance package to keep the lawyers from getting you home after an accident because you had the deep pockets.

We have had an umbrella for decades, and the extra costs for the extra comphrensive was a few dollars per month.

Gray Davis decided to give Americans the finger.

Right you are - in the middle of a recall Davis needed a lifeline. And since he has lost total support from the common, he panders to the 'minority voters' in hopes that it will boost his standings.

If one thought the recall election wasn't necessary, well now they have an excellent reason.
