Correct.....which would immediately cause legal California residents to go completely bonkers at their politicians to reverse the crazy law.
And, any state that refused to acknowledge a California drivers license would be in the right based on the fact that they will now have no reason to be confident that any California driver is a legal citizen.
I had a sneaking sucpicion that this was the intent of your proposal. Three problems:
1. Since the agreements are reciprocol, then if a state threatened to refuse CA licenses (for driving), then CA would likely threaten to refuse that state's licenses (it may even be automatic under teh terms of the recipricol agreement). So it would be as annoying for their residents as it would be for CA residents.
2. I don't know if it would affect enough CA residents to make a differece. You have to remember that of the millions of CA residents, only a small percentage regularly drive out of state.
3. What makes you think that the Leftist politicians who are running the state of CA give a damn about what people of CA want? We have been screaming bloody murder about this bill and it was passed and signed anyway. We overwhelmingly passed Prop 187, only to have a Leftist "judge" (i.e., tyrant) overturn it. Even when CA raises its collective voice in protest via the recall process, it's business as usual in Sacramento.
