Actually, the Feds control the air, so they could simply have the FAA pass a rule making a CDL an invalid form of ID to board any airplane within the borders of the US.

That happens, and this stupid law would be repealed within hours.

That sounds like a great idea and it might work for most states, but it won't work in California.

All of us in California have private jets. ;-)

Well, I don't have a private jet, so since you do, may I hitch a free ride with you the next time you're off to an exoctic locale? ;-)

I was hoping the Feds could intervene by way of "homeland security." ;-)
