This is blatant disregard of assisting Federal regulation of our borders. All the interviews I've seen concerning this issue are full of apathy. The California State law enforcement pass the buck, saying its not their place to enforce borders, that's for the Feds to deal with...thats insane!
If bankrobbers crossed the Nevada/California border and robbed a bank in California, would the State Police just wait for the FBI to take care of Federal business??

Rogue, does the bill actually still require them to produce a birth certificate? Hmmm...I wonder how many illegal aliens pack around their birth certificates. Do they even issue birth certificates in Mexico?

On the other hand, law enforcement was strongly opposed to this bill.

The bill only requires a Taxpayer ID number.... to get a taxpayer ID number you need to show one of the following:

- A passport.
- A driver's license.
- Birth, marriage, or baptismal
certificates.
- An identity card issued by a state or
national government authority.
- A foreign military or military dependent
identification card.
- School records.
- A foreign voter registration certificate.
- Documents issued by the U.S.
Immigration and Naturalization Service
(INS).

Which law enforcement? Two different times the issue was brought up on Hannity on the radio once with a police official, another time with the state DA and they said border enforcement was a federal issue. Why even label them illegal if you're gonna treat them as legal?

Cali is a lawless land now. Breaking the law is advantageous to certain groups, and it is encouraged in many ways.

The origin of black slaves in early America being 2/3 of a person by law, is often misunderstood. It's purpose was to increase the power of slave states by giving them more representives in congress. It is/was as simple as that. The same can be said for Democraps attempts to give rights to illegal citizens, it is a blatant power play.

Forget all the bleeding heart stuff about the plight of illegals. Since every aspect of human behavior is already legislated and regulated by democrap socialists, they have no other way to grow their power except by manipuilating population numbers. Meanwhile, republican business interests look the other way in search of ever cheaper sources of sweat shop labor.

They elite power brokers are bankrupting the United States and destroying American society for their lust of power.

I guess I was wrong. I noted from the Senate Floor analysis of the bill that the State Sheriffs Association was opposed. I have to admit that I heard that law enforcement was "screaming" to have this bill defeated. Apparently not. There are some law enforcement entities that were in support of the bill. I guess their rationale is that if they pull someone over, they'd rather have some ID on the person rather than none at all.

Ann Coulter characterized California as being ungovernable.

Who or what is going to stop these two million illegals from voting in the upcoming recall election?? The f---ing honor system!?!? We're going to rely on the honor of lawbreakers????

It is incredible that we the citizens of California and the US are going to let such a large-scale fraud be perpetrated on us without any of us taking to the streets!!!! We're as passive as the german jews under Hitler - we just keep taking it!!

Why don't we by the thousands uprise against this travesty that is about to happen in LA and let them know we're totally disgusted and are not going to take it anymore!!!

It's time for us Californians to have our Bastille day!!
