I just can NOT trust this TV station! They kept this off their web site till late friday to fall into the week-end news trough and be missed by most people!!!

It's Friday, so no one's following the news for a couple of days. They dump it onto the website now, and by Monday it's disappeared.

Damn. I didn't notice the source was Survey USA. They were off about 10% in Michigan last time.

post-debate "snap polls" are usually garbage.

This looks like bad news for Bustamante, especially for those who actually bother to read his rambling, incoherent responses.

It makes me wonder if the lefty vote will be split as badly as ours was supposed to be, in which case supporters of all candidates can be pretty much free to vote their conscience. If we could see Bustamante's vote split, we'd be almost guaranteed to see a Republican win.

Interesting.

Bustamonte is not in first place. It was only the L.A. Times push-poll that had him higher than the low-to-mid-20's.

They were off about 10% in Michigan last time. Which way? For or against dems?

So why didn't they add the one simple question that really matters: "Who do you plan to vote for on Oct. 7?"

I called 'em yesterday after Kelly.. (can't remember the rest of the screen name) freepmailed me when I posted having seen it nite before last, and asked the newsroom where I could get the report... "Gee... I dunno. You could go to SurveyUSA's website, maybe."

So I went there and NOTHING!!! Somethings up with this deliberate delay!!!

The SacramentoBEE has "HOW TO MAKE SENSE OF THE RECALL" on a poster in the front of every news rack. You know they are spinning this madly to cause the following to happen:

1. Bustamonte is deliberately making himself look more corrupt and threatening than DAVIS!

2. Davis defeats the Recall with massive telephone bank support from government employee UNIONS!

3. EVERYONE ELSE FROM THE OUTHOUSE TO THE WHITEHOUSE LOSES!!!

"If we could see Bustamante's vote split, "

==

And if pigs had wings, they could fly.

Bustamante is the only Democrat on the ballot and the Dems are famous for voting party line. They will all hold their noses and vote Bustamante.

There are things Republicans could learn from them, like how to win.

Exactly, and it was the more recent SurveyUSA poll that had Arnold over Cruz by 45 to 29.

Bustamante can count on at least 30% to 35% of the vote because of the "D" next to his name. Hell, the Democrats could have run Charles Manson, and he'd get that many votes.

The poll questioned 1,444 registered California voters

Interestingly enough, only 1,444 watched the debate the other night.

9% for dems. They predicted a 13% win for Granholm, and it was a 4% win.

The poll showed that Arnold Schwarzenegger's decision to skip the debate may have been costly. Fifty-five percent of voters felt it was the wrong thing to do, while 37 percent approved of the actor's absence.

Gee, 55% thought Arnold goofed by no showing up. Isn't that just about the same percentage of people who support other candidates?
