NEW YORK (AP) -- Commentator Rush Limbaugh made his ESPN debut at a fitting location -- Washington, D.C.
Actually, it was Landover, Md., in the parking lot of FedEx Field but it was still familiar territory for the right-wing radio host best known as the host of the politically focused Rush Limbaugh Show, which is syndicated in more than 650 markets worldwide.

"Try that with a woman or another man, whatever," Limbaugh said.
Unsurprisingly, the AP writer transcribed what Rush said in such a way as if he was making a homo reference. I watched it, and Rush really said something like, "try that with a woman....." and then paused it, then realized what he said would have to apply to the female ESPN viewers (all three of them) as well. But that's not the way it was written down by the liberal reporter.

The AP writer was too busy smelling the right wing.

I think it's just great that Rush is there and can't wait to see how ESPN's ratings do as a result! I wanted to watch it and then realized it was 4 pm our time that I would have had to turn it on, so I didn't get to watch it...but he'll be on Sunday night games, right?

Rush did very well. He was a bit wide-eyed but this is normal for a first time in a new broadcast situation. He'll look at the tape, adjust and make the changes. He's a pro.

Limbaugh then gave a spoken essay regarding the lure of football and the hold it has on its fans -- mixing in just the faintest bit of politics. This journalist is just hoping that Rush was talking about politics, to create a straw man of him tainting his football commentary. They'd hate to imagine him as a dispassioned observer and common-sense commentator.

So when the left wing wackos come on the radio will we hear the same thing ie "left-wing radio host".
Wanna bet?

I think it's kind of like having Arnold Sw;lkj;lkj in the debates. With him in, people will watch the debate. When he's not there, like for the first debate, the viewership was low.

"another" makes your interpretation wrong-- or Rush careless with English.

I think the show is normally at like 11 AM EST on Sundays-- not at night.

My wife and mother-in-law and I happened to be at Hooters when Rush came on, and a big cheer went up. Even the waitresses were yelling and clapping.
