Once California totally collapses, the failure of liberalism will be complete.

I've just rethought the border with Mexico. Make it with California instead and bring in the national guard.

LOL. The Democrats in this state could go on live TV and turn off all the power and "outlaw" all business in this state -- and the Democrats in your state and the other 49+DC wouldn't learn a thing or change a thing.
This state could completely collapse financially (as some on FR are sickeningly hoping for), and "Liberalism" wouldn't be dead at all.
In fact, a collapse of the CA economy would seriously damage our nation (35M people here, and probably 10% or more or our nations GDP) -- and who do you think would get the blame in the East Coast press? Seriously.
Some of you out there think some sort of "lesson" will cause the light to "pop on" in leftists' heads. I'm sure some people said the same thing after McGovern got stomped. And then again after Dukakis got blown out. But there they are again with McGovern wannabe Howard Dean and another MASS. dem in Kerry.

Nah, they'll just move to other states to start "changing things" there.

Hardly. It'll be Bush's fault. The libs shall proclaim themselves poor, oppressed and inocent vistims of the VRWC.
