Mine was 115 as well, in a '72 Grand Prix (400ci, with a 4 bbl), on I-265.

Chevy Chevelle 1979 on I-45 154 - 55 zone. (that is what it said on the ticket)
Nissan Maxima 2002 on Beltway 8 - 145 - 70 zone.
Honda Valkyrie 2003 on Beltway 8 - 155 - 70 zone.
The Chevelle was the craziest. It had hot rod go-fast parts, but only stock brakes.
The Maxima had a some pedal left.
The Valkyrie had plenty of throttle left.

Are we posting maximum speeds? I was driving in Alberta, Canada, when I looked at my speedometer and saw I was doing 130...funny, it didn't feel any faster than 80 *wink*

Anywhere: 300 and a hair klicks in a 1988 Porsche 928 S4 (RUF tuned) on the autobahn in Southern Germany while my preggers ex was asleeep. When I went into a long autobahn sweeping turn and felt some loft, I backed off.
Around 235-240 klicks on the bahn again between Frankfurt and Friebourg in the rain in a MB 560SEC....and was passed by a Porsche 956.
Stateside: around 175 maybe on a Cow GPZ bored out to maximum displacement (1264cc??) with Yoshis, Kunis, the works.....two lane Mississippi back road.
Stateside Auto:
Between Atlanta and Chattanooga racing a Mustang GT driven by a game Dobbins AFB jock. I was in a stock 911 Carrera...and maxed her all the way....which to the GT's credit was about the only place I could easily pull away from her....in the 125 plus range...below that, he was drafting me.
Fastest I ever felt I was going: over 100 knots in a 37' Midnight Express offshore Miami with quad Merc EFIs on the back in 3-5 seas....that is moving!...nothing else quite like it.
Nowadays:
I think my 10 year old Land Rover might do about 90 coming down a really steep mountain like the Mounteagle grade..lol

120mph in a MkII Jag on a B-road in North Yorkshire, 1982.
110mph in a '92 Dodge Stealth R/T on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway 1992-1998.
But don't quote me on that.

Are we posting maximum speeds?
Ok...I dunno mine.
My speedo was pegged at 145, and I had 1600 RPM to yellow line.
Any Mass people; I went from Wakefield, Ma. to the I-95 tolls on the NH border in 16 MINUTES!
It took 1/2 a tank of gas, and I slowed ONCE, for the 128/95 cloverleaf...took that at 85.
It was a 1987 Z-28 that had been HIGHLY played with!

1961 Jaguar XK-150; 3.54 rear axle, 7.00-16 Dunlop R5s on the rear, 5500 RPM.
Middle of the night with four aircraft landing lights on the front bumper apron to light the way.
