Blah, another waste of ink from some journalist who slept through writing class. Why is the guy in a Bangkok prison? Why was a homeless Mexican kid in the US? Where are his parents? How did he get here or where ever it was to meet the alleged pervert 4 years ago at the age of 10? Was he molested in Mexico or the US or where? So many questions, not enough info.

Actually, it my be you who slept through reading classes :-)

1) The article says White's in prison 'fighting a bid by Mexican authorities to extradite him to Mexico'. Under Thai law, he may have to remain in jail while that case is heard.

2) The story does not say the homeless kid is in the US. (Although he may be, now, to pursue the case in a California court, the story clearly says he was "accusing the investor of sexually abusing him for four years in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. "

3) If he's homeless, it's fairly likely that he HAS no parents

4) White had a holiday home in Mexico ... where police allege he was a serial child-abuser. ("facing separate criminal charges in Mexico of sexually abusing eight boys at his villa near Puerto Vallarta")

5) The was molested in Mexico - as the story makes clear, if you re-read it.

The location question comes about because of a misreading of the sentence 'The other two youths, both from the Central Valley, have joined together in a single lawsuit ...' Note the word is BOTH ... not ALL.

So many questions, Quite enough info, actually :-)

Actually, I will concede that the Thai prison question needs clearing up ... but the rest are a misinterpretation on the part of I_Love_my_Husband.

After she made the initial mistake, others then started commenting on it, without re-checking the source material.
