To: Paleo Conservative
I've always found it interesting that the Chinese government decided not to go for Microsoft products...the rationale was that they did not want to be dependent upon Redmond, Washington for upgrade, or bug repair, or anything else (backdoors...) that appeared in the millions of lines of code. What an interesting decision taken on grounds of national security.

By that same token, we should be allowed to prohibit Linux from use in our own government, wouldn't you agree? The kernel is controlled by a foreign citizen, you know. Or is that somehow different?
