Add me to the "I can't stand Olbermann" list. Has his show been cancelled?

No, but give it time. No matter how badly they want to, it is near the point where MSNBC literally cannot afford to keep Olbermann on the air, because his ratings are so low as to be nearly unmeasurable.

My guess is they'll give him till the first of the year and then yank his butt. That is, unless there is some sort of gigantic news event between now and then (like another 9/11, for example), in which case he will disappear instantaneously and never return. MSNBC has used that trick in the past in order to yank horrible shows off the air, when the public is so wrapped up in some huge news story that they forget the old show even existed. (Anyone remember The Mitch Albom Show? Not after September 10, 2001, you didn't!)

Oh yeah... The Mitch Albom Show. I had forgotten all about that show. Actually, the only show I watch on MSNBC on a fairly regular basis is "Scarborough Country" at 10pm ET, so I wouldn't know if Mitch Albom was still on or not. I remember seeing him on MSNBC during the day on weekdays, back in the days before our cable company carried Fox News.

How are the Imus ratings? He insults his bosses at MSNBC, and I'm wondering why they put up with it.
