09-03-03 - Showtime is premiering this weekend, the film, "DC 9-11: A Time of Crisis," commemorating the two year anniversary of 9-11. Sunday night, 8:00 p.m., Eastern.
What is note worthy about this film other than the obvious showing of it on the weekend before the anniversary of 9-11 is the positive view it gives of a Republican president. Please pass this along to all your email lists and let's get the ratings up, up and up!
For two very important reasons. It's vital we never forget was was done to us on September 11th, and the very real threat we still live under. Secondly, we need to show the powers that be in Hollywood that there is an audience for a positive portrayal of a Republican president. Hollywood loves to show its Liberal leanings when making films or television shows, just think West Wing and The American President to name just two.
Haven't seen the film yet, but it was written and produced by Lionel Chetwynd, a Republican in Hollywood who sits on the president's Commission on the Arts and Humanities. So it's a safe assumption that in a very rare event in Hollywood, a Republican president will be portrayed in an honest and positive manner.
Let's get those ratings to go through the roof, Hollywood-Hero fans!!!
