Okay, do you mean unqualified lackeys who would not make waves, exposing the Clintons turbulence in their presidency? I was thinking more along the lines that they did not ignore opportunities to recruit and/or appoint people who represent the Clintonian vision of America's future to key positions with civil service type protection so they can resist the Bush Administration and push a liberal agenda when possible.

It will be the downfall of an honest man, Bush, that he didn't fire the lot of Clinton appointees when he took office. They have successfully thwarted many of his programs. I agree with all you say except; they aren't liberals, they are socialists. Being a plain spoken, true to his word sort of man, I don't think President Bush ever imagined how many knives would be pounded into his back, even as he extended his hand in non-partisanship - Ted Kennedy and Mrs. Clinton are among the top knife wielders.
