[history]
September 4, 2003 -- As a violent thunderstorm flickered and dimmed the lights in Florida's execution chamber, a former minister was put to death last night for murdering an abortion doctor.
Paul Hill used his last breaths to call upon right-to-lifers to continue the fight - by any means necessary.

Let me spell something out for you--babies are innocent, murderers are not. There is a vast difference between the two. The Pro-life movement, in my assessment, is not radical enough because even they can't seem to draw this logical conclusion. While I don't intend to kill anyone myself, I believe that doing so is morally justified and necessary in defense of the innocent and defenselessabortion doctors are neither and babies are both.

A poster who says "the gurney was elevated to the Cross", and then employs the artifice of polite reason is not gaining my respect.I doubted his motives.

I have also pointedout that the original hebrew text says "Thou shalt not murder". I believe that life begins at conception and therefore that Hills actions were morally justified. However I do believe that Hill really acomplished nothing as the women who were going to have an abortion on that day and in the future found another doctor. Hill probably could have acomplished more had he stood outside the abortion clinic with large pictures of aborted fetuses for the futue mothers to see.

So not only do you through out the rule of law you also say it is justified morally, but you would never do it. Ahhh such convictions.
To: Oceanus
Let's see... if you believe that killing someone who is going to take a life is justifiable homicide, should pregnant women who are going to get abortions also be gunned down?

If I believe a war is unjust and innocent babies, women and children will be killed by our forces,am I justified if I kill a military person to prevent say murder by bombing?

A poster who says "the gurney was elevated to the Cross", and then employs the artifice of polite reason is not gaining my respect. I doubted his motives. Well, Meg, I don't understand what the difference is between the "artifice of polite reason" and actual polite reason, except maybe that you disagree with him. It is plainly evident above that Heartbreak of Psoriasis was polite to you throughout -- even after you insulted him several times.
Doubting his motives is no excuse for what you did to him in #67, #70, #74, #82. In #111 you basically suggested that he leave.
Finally, what does imagery of "the gurney was elevated to the Cross" really mean? I can think of several things that he might have meant, some of which I may even agree with. But why not ask him politely, "Heartbreak, that sounds strange, what exactly do you mean by that?"
Let us all remember that there are real people behind these posts. And though I hesitate to add this, since I myself have not lived up to these words, we will be held accountable to them:
The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned." (Matthew 12:35-37)
Best regards.

Of course not!
They should be jailed until they give birth to their precious little babies, then immediately stoned to death because they're probably adulteresses. And, of course, I will throw the first stone, since I am without sin!
(Takes off Paul Hill Defender "reasoning" [feh!] hat)
There, how was that?

Damn, you're good.

I was told by another that the goal was to NOT win our enemies over to Christ; apparently, if I am not ensuring that evildoers close their hearts to the Gospel and go to Hell, I'm helping pollute Heaven or something.

Ah - the old "if that sinner is in heaven when I get there, I'm gonna be real disappointed, because I lived my life in perfect condemnation and scorn of all those immoral people" approach.

I wanted a Hill defender to reply, not you, but that was funny.I dunno. It's too close to truth to be truly funny.

Nope. Heartbreak stated that Paul Hill is equal to Christ. You were actually quite mild.
